Individual Therapy
What to expect from a Roseroot session
Through Teams, sessions will begin with a short grounding exercise to slow ourselves down and step away from the busy, often overwhelming, outside world.
This helps you ‘arrive’ in the therapeutic space; the aim is to create a clear sense of presence before moving into the work itself.
How we begin:
Online therapy is as effective as face-to-face therapy for many people.
Online therapy has grown in popularity since the COVID-19 pandemic forced the industry to adapt
I completed my degree during this time and, as a result, have extensive experience working online.
The benefit of working online is that it helps therapy fit around a busy life
There’s no weekly journey to factor in, no parking to find, and no travel costs to consider. Instead, you can make space for yourself from wherever you feel most comfortable.

Therapy is led by you and the experiences you choose to bring; you can say as much or as little as you like.
It is an opportunity to talk openly about what's going on in your life and how it's affecting you with a trained professional.
I am not here to judge you or dig for gossip.
I am here to support you, so you don't have to face whatever you’re going through alone.

Creativity alongside therapy
I do ask that you have a notebook and pen with you for our sessions.
There is no right or wrong way to use it!
You might jot down something that feels important, sketch, scribble, capture a thought, or simply use it to track what comes up for you. Over time, it can become a lovely reference point to look back on and notice what has shifted, grown or changed.
