Introducing
our eight-week
Creative Therapy Group
Join us Saturday, 31st October - 19 December
9:30 - 11:30
-
Drawing, painting, movement, masks, clay work, music, and creative writing exercises are all used alongside traditional person-centred talking therapy.
No artistic experience or ability is required, just a willingness to explore your creative side.
After the eight weeks, you will receive a portfolio of all of your work to take home with you. -
Group therapy offers something that individual therapy does not: the opportunity to hear different perspectives, connect with the local community, practice boundaries in real time, and explore yourself in relation to others.
-
Group therapy offers the chance to connect with other members of the community through shared experiences. Connection is a core part of the therapeutic process. You’ll learn just as much from the group as from the creative work itself.
-
Sessions are offered at £50 for a two hour session.
We offer a nonrefundable block booking for the eight sessions at £300, saving you £100.
-
The group is led by experienced therapists who know how to hold space, encourage participation, and keep things moving.
Danielle and Tom have been working together on similar projects at The University of Salford since 2023. Meet the two of us below:
Meet Tom
Tom from Clayhouse Consulting is a Practice Partner and Creative Writing lead.
Tom primarily works with adults experiencing depression. Tom understands that depression can affect much more than mood. It can change how we see ourselves, our relationships, our confidence, and our sense of what is possible. His work focuses on helping people make sense of these experiences, reconnect with themselves and begin to find a way forward through creative writing and poetry.

✍️ Poetry & creative writing
In his free time, you will find Tom relaxing by a lake with a fishing pole in hand, with his family, or at a football game.
Meet Danielle
Hi, I’m Danielle, the founder and director of Roseroot Therapy.
I’ve always had a strong connection with creativity, particularly painting, and it’s something that naturally found its way into my therapeutic work. I’m interested in how creative processes can help us explore things that we might not always know how to articulate, and how making something can sometimes open up a different way of looking at our experiences.

🎨 Painting & Clay Work
In my free time, you will find me up ladders with a paintbrush in hand, hiking up a hill, or spending time with friends and family.
